Manon waits for her date as an uncontrollable itch overtakes her.
Conceived during a time when I was experiencing an annoying flare up of eczema, Itch is a "single take" animated short that contrasts, through the lens of body horror, the persistence of an itch with the physical memory of something you would like to forget, now returned to haunt you. The itch becomes a second skin, covers you, takes over your body, alienates you, and is impossible to shed until you finally renew your entire skin. The title itself is both a reference to the physical sensation, as well as the feeling of longing.
